As part of the youth capacity building and community development with the outcome of collaborative work in Badagry content development network on the blue print of the MHR, the Member, Representing Badagry Federal constituency Babatunde Hunpe sponsored Four Legal practitionals known to be Badagry indigent to the 59th AGM of the NBA at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
The event which commenced from Friday, 23 August 2019 to end Thursday, 29 August 2019.
With the theme, “Facing the Future As we all know that the essence of the Association and indeed the legal profession is defense, protection and promotion of the Rule of Law.
It was unanimously agreed upon that a dedicated Plenary on current Rule of Law issues should therefore be a standard fare.
The conference, where the Rule of Law Symposium Plenary and other innovation were been discussed to harness more peaceful and Law abiding society is needed to be given a brace and also to encourage our own sons and daughters in this system inoder to prepare them for a futuristic Legal intervention in the course of Badagrys Liberation and Rebranding projects.
Speaking with the media unit on phone communication, Babatunde Hunpe commended the active spirit of the New Special Adviser to the Governor on Art,tourism and culture, Solomon Bonu for his bravery and swift participation backed with the execution of Ministry obligations at the event.
The Member, Federal House of Representativs also spoke pointedly on his readiness to give required supports as the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu sets to focus on Establishment of Badagry Slave Heritage Trail and promote Badagry as a top tourist destination.
Hence, “Badagry will feel the federal presence in this new Administration in all spheres” Hunpe said.
