Video: Gabonese President, Ali Bongo, Campaigning for 2023 Despite Being Down With Stroke

Gabon’s President, Ali Bongo, who is rarely seen in the public recently steeped out.
He has been suffering from stroke and was recently captured on camera campaigning and asking the crowd to vote for him for President again in 2023.
He has been ruling since 2009 after his dad, Omar Bongo was the President for 42 years (1967 – 2009)

Since independence in 1960, Gabon has had 5 presidents two of which are on interim.
Prior to now, Algeria had Abdelaziz Bouteflika who was forced to resign amidst protest from his countrymen too.

The Algerians demonstrated in late February after the 82-year-old then president announced his plan to run for a fifth term in elections which was scheduled for April.
