Nigerian forward, Stephen Pius Odey, had dedicated his 1st UEFA Champions League goal to his mother.
The 21 year old Agege born forward from Cross River State came in for his international team mate, Paul Onuachu, in the 81st minute and made his mark two minutes from regulation time and dedicated the goal to his mother who he said guided him “in the right path”
Odey’s mum celebrated her birthday on Tuesday 22nd October.
Not the result we wanted but it ended that way. Hoping to get a better result in our next meeting & a goal.💪⚽⚪🔵
