Hon. Onilude Olusegun, the Chairman of Badagry Local Government, has offered immediate employment to the best five graduating students of the Badagry Vocational Training and Skills Acquisition programme.
Onilude announced this during the 16th Graduation and Matriculation Ceremony of the MDGS Vocational Training Centre in Badagry on Monday.
The Badagry Local Government Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Mrs Risikat Hassan, appreciate the chairman’s gesture and congratulated the graduands noting that the event marked another milestone achievement for the council.
The best graduates who were rewarded are:
- Abosede Friday (Hairdressing),
- Nofisat Oladogun ( Computer)
- Mariam Abdul-Ramon (Bag-Making),
- Anuoluwapo Gbetoyon (Fashion Design) and
- Damilola Ojo (Hotel Catering Management).
One of the graduating students, Joy Alasoadura, noted that the training was an avenue for her to have another chance in life.
The Computer appreciation graduand informed that the nine months of training was worth every time of it for the knowledge impacted.
