Wife of Anambra State Governor Visits US to Donate to Charity

The wife of Anambra State Governor, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano was pictured donating to the less privileged in faraway Houston Texas, United States and this has generated conversation on social media amongst Nigerians.

According to one of the reactions, the road to her father’s house is in a bad shape and the respondent want her to begin her charity from home.

Buhari is not travelling out for 20 days – FG

The Federal Government of Nigeria has dismissed the news that President Muhammadu Buhari will be travelling out of the country for 20 days as speculated in sections of the media.

In a statement issued via the twitter account of the FG, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina debunked the information.

FCMB Offers Dele Full Scholarship from Primary to Tertiary Institution

First City Monument Bank, FCMB, has announced the award of full scholarship to Rasheed Fathia Dele, the 7-year old school girl, who was recently spotted using lights from the ATM Gallery at their branch in Ondo City to do her homework.

The scholarship will cover her education from her current Primary Grade 1 to higher education level in a Nigerian institution.

The bank also commended Dele’s determination, as well as that of other young Nigerians just like her, who aspire to a better life and are relentless in their pursuit of it.

Dele was spotted by one Bada Maruf Mathew who shared the story on twitter and had also gained the attention of the bank and we’ll meaning Nigerians who had also donated about ₦86,000 to an account opened in Dele’s name too.
