The Lagos State Government has said that the tourism and entertainment sector would receive due attention this year.
Governor Sanwo-Olu made the pledge at the grand finale and end of the year fun and entertainment Extravaganza organised by the state government through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
The event was held at the five divisions of the state – Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe.
Mr. Governor also encouraged Lagosians to continue the new year in positivity, hopes and unlimited aspirations.
The Commissioner for Tourism, Mrs. Shuli Adebolu noted that not less than 350,000 Lagosians participated in this year’s edition of the annual music and entertainment show and that it was all peaceful and orderly all through.
The finals of the Talent Hunt, across all the five centres of the show produced Samuel Olawarinde from Agege venue as the best dancer with the prize money not disclosed while Jazz from Eko Atlantic City venue emerged the overall best Music/Rapper going home with ₦5 million and a recording deal.
