Vandals Destroy Ibrahimovic’s Statue Outside Malmo Stadium

AC Milan striker and former Swedish International, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had his statue outside Malmo FF’s stadium cut down by vandals.
The vandals saw it off at the ankles with about 2 feet left on the plinth while the rest of the body was left toppled over a security fence in the latest attack on the structure outside the Eleda Stadion.

The face of the statue was also covered with a shirt with the Swedish badge on it, with the words “take away” also sprayed on the ground close by.
A section of the Malmo fans have been angered by Ibrahimovic’s action to be a co-owner of rival club Hammarby in November.
Ibrahimovic started his career at Malmo before joining the likes of Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, LA Galaxy and AC Milan.
