Fashola: Why Power Generation is Difficult in Nigeria

Nigeria’s Minister of Works and Housing and former Minister of Power, Babatunde Raji Fashola is being lashed on social media for a comment he had made on why power generation is difficult.
Fashola had said that incompetent people are managing our economy at the 7th Annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium in 2015.

It would be recalled that the former Minister for Power was quoted to have said that “a serious government will fix power problem in six months” on November 12 2014.
The backlash is coming out in reaction to the Ministry of Power’s Press Statement on the On-going Reforms in the Power Sector in Nigeria.
