Lagos State Government Hails Compliance to Restrictions on Bikes and Keke

The Lagos State Government has hailed  the compliance with the restriction of motorcycles and tricycles aka Keke Napep (Marwa) in the metropolitan.
The government noted that the level of compliance was over 90% with the ride hailing companies such as Opay and Gokada also directing their riders to comply with the the directive.
It will be recalled that the enforcement of the order began on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
A fleet of 65 buses is expected to join the others on some major routes from Monday, February 3, 2020 while no less than 550 more buses are being expected.
Also, 14 ferries will be commissioned on Tuesday to further open up the waterways while providing alternative viable options to the road transportation.
