According to a medium – Yallakora, the five countries that have been earmarked for the continental spectacle before now are Egypt, Gabon, Sudan, Morocco and South Africa.

It would be recalled that the last final was marred by controversy over questionable officiating in the opening game between Esperance and Wydad Casablanca – while the second leg was abandoned.
