LASU Suspends All Academic Activities, Directs Vacation of Varsity

The Senate of the Lagos State University, LASU, has ordered the approved the immediate suspension of all academic activities on campuses of the University.
All prior approvals that entail students’ mass movement on/off campus were also rescinded.
At an Emergency Meeting held on Friday, 20th March, 2020, the Senate also directed the fumigation of the entire University environment particularly, the classrooms be carried out as preventive measure during the period of the shut down.
With this, all students are to vacate the University Campuses immediately at Ojo, Epe and Ikeja from Friday, 20th March 2020 and information on a resumption date would be communicated in due course.
However, members of staff of the University are expected to be at their respective duty posts.
