Nigeria Records 10 New Case of Corona Virus

Nigeria has recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19 in Lagos and Abuja FCT, bringing the numbers to a total of 22 cases.

Lagos 16, Abuja FCT 3, Ekiti 1 and Ogun 2. Two have been discharged.

All cases are Nigerians and are clinically stable and receiving adequate care; 9 returning from Canada, France, Netherlands, Spain & UK, while 1 is a close contact of a known case.

In FCT, the cases are being treated at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.

In Lagos, the cases are being treated at Infectious Disease Hospital, Lagos.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Test Positive to COVID-19 as Lagos Discharges 5

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Also the NCDC reported that Nigeria recorded second death from coronavirus while the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu also shared that an additional 5 cases recovered and were discharged.

The NCDC in the meantime is working to identify 6,000 people who have had close contacts with persons infected to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Husband allegedly kills 2 months pregnant wife in Anambra (Disturbing Images)

A pregnant lost her life after her husband allegedly stabbed her to death just two months after their wedding.

Rita Onyemauchechukwu Onyebuchi and her husband Mr Ikechukwu Atansi popularly called “Agbada”, both from Anambra state, got married on January 10, 2020.

On Tuesday, March 24, her younger brother Onyebuchi John Paul, who works in the same company with her noticed she wasn’t at work – a rare occurrence. He called her but she wasn’t picking her calls.

After work, he went to her house in Ezimezi village, Amawbia, Anambra state, but saw the door to the house locked. He also noticed that his sister’s husband’s car was not in the compound.

He went home then called the husband but his number was switched off.

On Wednesday, his sister didn’t show up at work and their mother, who is suffering from high blood pressure, was already worried.

On Thursday morning, March 26, the brother stopped by his sister’s house on his way to work and saw a crowd, including police officers, gathered in the compound.

He was led into the house where he saw the decomposing body of his sister lying in a pool of her own blood.

John Paul revealed that his sister is 2 months pregnant and he took to Facebook to call for justice for his murdered sister and her unborn baby.

He also revealed that the husband was arrested on Thursday, March 26 and held at Central Police Station Awka. On Saturday, March 28, he was transferred to the state CID Amaubia, Anambra.
