FG Urged To Avert Looming Crisis In Badagry, Seme Axis

The Federal Government has been urged to avert a brewing crisis in Badagry town between men of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Patrol Units, Ikeja and Seme Border, and residents of Badagry, Lagos, who are protecting petrol stations operators within the axis.
Mr Innocent Babameke, Petroleum Dealers Associ­ation, Badagry axis, who spoke through a statement, urged the Federal Govern­ment and all the concerned authorities to act fast to avert breakdown of law and order in the area.
The association accused the NCS Federal Operation Patrol Units, Ikeja and Seme border of incessant harass­ment of innocent citizens and indiscriminate shootings.
