Growing up and letting go

Few weeks back, I emptied my box and saw some clothes that were no longer my size but were still looking very good and I was wondering what they were still doing sitting in my box.
Oops, I kept them there with the hope that soon I’ll go back to being a size 12 (don’t you dare laugh at me, miracle happens and keto is real too).
In reality, there are some friendship, relationship, attitudes etc that are no longer our size and no longer befits our current status/personality but some how we’re still keeping them in the hope that we may go back to that size or a miracle will happen and those things will become our present size.
Don’t you think it’s time to let go of those things that are no longer fitting, especially attitudes.
Anger won’t grow you, envy won’t grow you, the wrong crowd will draw you back.
If the old does not go, the new won’t come. Make way for the new thing coming your way. Yes, I know it’s so hard to let go of some of these things because they’ve been with us for years.
Remember, growth can be a bit painful but it’s worth it. I’m not there yet too but everyday I keep aspiring for perfection.
