Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has been lashed on social media for throwing a house party and having a large number of people in attendance.

Despite the government’s efforts in combating COVID-19, the mother of twins and husband, JJC Skillz, were seen having fun with some celebrities such as Eniola Badmus, Naira Marley and others in attendance as well.

One of the commentators, Aishat, noted that Funke Akindele is a typical example of people don’t practice what they preach!

Funke Akindele is also one of the ambassadors campaigning for the Nigeria Centre for Diseases and Control, NCDC and many are disappointed in her actions as well as others who attended the party.

See reactions below:

What Funke Akindele did has always been my concern with Nigerian celebrities ambassadorship deals. As an ambassador, you should live, preach & breath the essence of that brand.

Same way some of them get signed as Infinix/Tecno ambassadors but end up flaunting iphones outside.

Dear @NCDCgov your Ambassador Funke Akindele, Her Husband JJC, Eniola Badmus, Naira Marley & the Entire Family threw a packed House Party Ystd. I love Funke & have nothing against her but Everyone in that House should be Forcefully Quarantined. Pls treat as Urgent. 😷

Don’t blame only Funke Akindele, what of those that attend the party, were those guests that attended the party coerced or force to attend?

— Engineer Tolu Tezzy_ 💧 (@tolutezzy_) April 5, 2020

Dear @NCDCgov,
Please I hope there’s a clause in the contract that Funke Akindele signed that spells punishment for the kind of idiocy she displayed yesterday hosting a house party despite being a NCDC ambassador.

This is a total slap on the NCDC.

Pls RT till NCDC acts on this.
