Nigerians in Canada can now be evacuated from Canada to Nigeria if they so pleased.
The Nigeria High Commission in Canada had notified that Nigerians who wish to relocate due to the COVID-19 pandemic can be provided the needed assistance.
One of those resident in Canada called it a joke!
He then went out to itemise what benefits the Canadian government are offering which includes receiving GST of about $1000.
Also, Canada will be giving everyone $2,000 per month if they can’t work because of COVID-19 pandemic and this is directly deposited to individual bank accounts.
🤣 what a joke!

Another reacted sarcastically asking if the plane is to be empty from Nigeria then she is ready to volunteer in the evacuation.
I have a question? Are they going to fly an empty plane from Nigeria to Canada to evacuate them? If yes, can I join the pilot and flight attendants as a volunteer.

It would be recalled that the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, noted that those who are interested will be responsible for their transport costs.
