The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has said the novel Corona Virus that has killed over 500,000 people worldwide is a hoax.
According to him, it is an imported “illness” and that’s was “forced on people” to shorten their lifespan.
“Do not give in to frae and evil of the issues of COVID-19. It is a disease that has been imported, propagates and forced on the people for no just cause,” Bello said.
“It is only out to create fear, panic and pandemic, orchestrated to reduce and shorten the lifespan of the people”
“It is a disease propagated by force for Nigerians to accept.”
Bello had disagreed with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, over the death of the State’s Chief Judge, Justice Nasir Ajanah.
Ajanah had died from complications from COVID-19 on Sunday at the Gwagwalada Isolation Centre in Abuja.
The governor described Justice Ajanah as a peace lover and prayed Allah to grant him Aljanah Firdaus also said his death as natural and urged the people.
The state had barred the NCDC team from conducting COVID-19 tests insisting that it had conducted over hundred tests which were all negative and alleged that NCDC has a plot to report cases in the state.
The governor has asked the the NCDC team to leave the state or go on a 14 day quarantine.
