Ogun Flood: Dapo Abiodun Moves Engineers to Affected Sites

Not more than 48 hours after the Ogun State capital, Abeokuta, got flooded, the Governor Dapo Abiodun has mandated the public works agency to affected areas.

The engineers were asked to move to the affected areas in Abeokuta metropolis to commence reconstruction and dredging of the river.

The governor led other officials of the state including the Commissioner for Works, Environment, Physical Planning and Urban Development among others to the affected areas.

Places visited included Isale-Oja Kuto and Ijeja.
He said his administration will work on how to make the areas more habitable for the people.
