The United States has appointed Enoh T. Ebong as the US Trade and Development Agency, USTDA, Acting Director, this was revealed via the Agency’s twitter account.

She is expected to lead all aspects of the Agency in fostering economic growth in emerging economies while supporting US jobs.
Ms. Ebong previously served at USTDA in a variety of roles from 2004 – 2019:
In her speech, the Acting Director, Enoh T. Ebong, said “It is an honor to return to @USTDA. The opportunity to lead comes at a critical moment when the world is turning to the U.S. for leadership on clean energy, climate-smart infrastructure and safe and secure ICT solutions.”
Prior to joining USTDA, Ms. Ebong practiced law at the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. in the area of business and finance. Her practice included the representation of public and private companies, with an emphasis on financing transactions for both start-ups and established businesses; mergers and acquisitions; and corporate governance issues.
Ms. Ebong received her undergraduate degree from The University of Edinburgh, and her Master of Arts in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
