Yakubu Gowon at 87: Negative Reactions Trail Atiku’s Greetings

Some negative reactions are trailing former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar’s tweet to celebrate Gen. Yakubu Gowon (Rtd.)
Gowon turned who turned 87 on Tuesday, 19th October was “more years in good health and service to our nation by Atiku.”

In swift reactions, followers of the former Vice President differs and responded thus:
He will not die well, oga. For his role in the genocide that happened in ’67-70..
If you believe he is innocent, same fate awaits you responded Tochukwu.
On his part, Toni Hamilton reacted: Well, Karma has failed. Let’s believe there will be Hell Fire and some life after death and that God is truly God of Justice.
Akaninyenene Mathew asked:
How now? How is he a rallying point for national unity mbok? The Aburi Report and the civil way that could have been averted. Too many secrets in one man that we have refused to make him spill all in the name of national unity, yet, we aren’t United.
Bola Efe on his own believed that he’s among the proprietors of the problems we are suffering today in Nigeria.. His birthday can never be happy.
