Why Buka Hut CEO, Laolu Martins, Committed Suicide

The founder of Bukka hospitality Limited, Laolu Martins was said to have committed suicide around 3.a.m today in Lekki, Lagos.

A friend of his and other sources claimed he committed suicide for a reason they initially would not disclose.

It was however revealed that after giving up on his alleged long-fought battle against depression he went to the extreme.

Hut, Rasheed Jayeola, recently led his team to open their 15th outlet in the Ikorodu part of Lagos.

Laolu Martins was an investment banking expert and also the co-founder and executive director of Bukka Hut.

He was a Chartered stockbroker and a Chartered Accountant with 12 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, stockbroking, asset management and pension fund management.

Laolu started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999 and joined Investment Banking & Trust Company Plc now Stanbic IBTC Bank PIc where he served in the Financial Control and Trade Finance/Foreign Operations units of the Bank before being seconded to Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Ltd.

Bukka Hut is a restaurant that offers a wide variety of tasty homemade meals.

Until his death, Laolu was the CEO of Nigeria International Security Limited (NISL).
