Ronaldo On The Brink of Joining Premier League Club Just After Signing for Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo could decide to make a shocking move back to a Champions League club next season.

Spanish football news outlet Fichajes reports that the 37-year-old’s contract with Al Nassr has a clause that will allow him return to the Premier League.

Ronaldo, according to the report, would return to the Premier League and precisely, Newcastle, if Eddie Howe’s side finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.

Newcastle are owned by a consortium of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, RB Sports & Media and PCP Capital Partners.

Ronaldo became a free agent after his contract was terminated by Manchester United in November.

The 37-year-old completed a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr last week but could return to the Premier League as early as next season.
