Apple has officially set the date for its much-anticipated launch event, where it is expected to introduce the iPhone 16 lineup.
The event, scheduled for 9th September 2024, will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. The tagline for the event, “It’s Glowtime,” hints at significant updates and potential new features across Apple’s product range.
The tech giant is widely expected to introduce its iPhone 16 lineup during the event. Key changes anticipated in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models include a vertically aligned camera system on the back.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are rumoured to feature larger screens, while maintaining the familiar three-camera setup, and may also be offered in a new bronze colour.
All four iPhone 16 models are expected to include the Action Button, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro line. There is also speculation about a new button dedicated to capturing photos and videos, though it remains unclear if this will be available on all models or just the Pro variants.
In addition to the iPhone 16, Apple is expected to launch the Apple Watch Series 10 and two new versions of AirPods at the event. The inclusion of Apple Intelligence features across the iPhone 16 range is also anticipated, marking a significant upgrade in the devices’ AI capabilities.
Rumours suggest that the new products could be available for purchase as early as 20th September 2024, offering consumers a timely opportunity to experience Apple’s latest innovations.
