It is no longer news that Virgil van Dijk has been crowned UEFA’s 2018/19 Men’s Player of the Year but how much do you know about him?
VVD as codenamed is defender who plays for Liverpool Football Club and the Netherlands. He was born on the 8th July 1991 and is 193cm tall.

2018/19 season was such a success for him and he won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Men’s Best Player award, PFA Player of the Year, Liverpool fans’ Player of the Year, Liverpool players’ Player of the Year, Premier League Team of the Season, Champions League Team of the Season and December Player of the month.
Despite loosing 315 duels, he has a 72% tackle success and 447 headed clearance loosing 207 aerial battles and winning 589 and committed only 1 error leading to goal.
To win the award for the UEFA Player of the Year he polled 305 points over his nearest match Lionel Messi.
