Super Eagles debutant and former Kwara Football Academy star, Dennis Emmanuel Bonaventure made headlines at the Bernabeu grabbing a brace in his Champions League game against Real Madrid thus becoming only the third Nigerian ever to find the net against Los Blancos in the Champions League.
Dennis made his National team debut in the 2-2 draw with Ukraine last month and opened the scoring tally in just 9 minutes before completing his brace half an hour later.
The 21-year-old mimicked Ronald’s ‘siuuu’ celebration for his second goal.

He had extended his stay with the Blue and Black until 2022 after turning down several offers from Europe in the summer after joining the Jan Breydel Stadium outfit in 2017 from Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk, and has been a consistent performer for the Blue and Black.
Bonaventure scored 21 goals and had 9 assists in 78 games across all competitions since teaming up with the side.
A night that Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis will NEVER forget 💙🖤

The Sports Minister, Sunday Dare, too eulogised the youngster as well as other Nigerians.
Nigerian footballer, Emmanuel Bonaventure, has just put his side two goals ahead in the first half against Real Madrid in the Champions League. I see another golden age of our National Football Team on the horizon. #ProudlyNigerian
