Nigerian Forward, Odey, Dedicates Debut Champions League Goal to Mum

Nigerian forward, Stephen Pius Odey, had dedicated his 1st UEFA Champions League goal to his mother.
The 21 year old Agege born forward from  Cross River State came in for his international team mate, Paul Onuachu, in the 81st minute and made his mark two minutes from regulation time and dedicated the goal to his mother who he said guided him “in the right path”
Odey’s mum celebrated her birthday on Tuesday 22nd October.


 
Odey debuted on August 13, 2017 for Nigeria when he came on as a substitute in 1-0 defeat against Benin Republic.

He is also the all-time top scorer for MFM FC in the Nigerian Professional Football League with 23 goals.
