NIMASA Donates Ventilators, ₦50m to Support COVID-19

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has donated 20 ventilators to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
It also announced the donation of ₦50 million to fight the pandemic in the country; with ₦30 million going to the Federal Government Committee on COVID-19 Intervention and ₦20 million to aid the Lagos State Government’s effort to control the spread of the virus.
The initiative which was made known by Isichei Osamgbi, the Head, Corporate Communications, NIMASA, revealed that the Agency’s Director General – Dr. Bashir Jamoh made the pronouncement in Lagos.
The Agency also donated other medical equipment to enhance the fight against the COVID 19 in Nigeria. These include, 60 Beds, 20 Patient ICU Monitors, 20 Oxygen Concentrator, 10 Infusion pump, 10 Syringe pump, 20 Oxygen giving set, 10 Suction machine and 100 set of personal Protective Equipment PPE.
