Gbenu Shares Relief Materials to 90 Communities in Badagry West

About 90 communities in Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State have received relief packages.
Council Chairman Joseph Gbenu said it was part of measures to reduce the effect of the COVID-19 stay-at-home order.
Gbenu said the packs were meant for people living with disabilities, the aged, widows and widowers as they were mostly affected.
He appealed to residents to remain calm as the packs would get to them.
“Please remain calm as we go around the communities to distribute the pallaitives. It will get to you,” he said.
Gbenu said the central point for distribution remained the Baales’ houses or the village or community centres.
“The distribution is for everybody, irrespective of party affiliation, whether you are a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) or not,” he noted.
He urged the people to obey government’s directives and safety measures.
