Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Inaugurates “Clean Nigeria” Committee Virtually

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, earlier today virtually inaugurated the steering committee of the “Clean Nigeria”.

The campaign is put together by the Honourable Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Adamu to end open defecation, which has been a major hazard to the health and well being of Nigerians.
Osinbajo explained that Nigerians must embrace quality sanitation and hygiene especially as the government continues to curb COVID-19.
“As our nation confronts the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that expanding access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities is our most effective weapon against the scourge of infectious disease,” the Vice President affirmed.
