PDP’s Jegede To Tour 18 Ondo LGAs Ahead of Party Primaries

2020 hopeful at the Ondo Gubernatorial elections, Eyitayo Jegede, has commenced his tour across the eighteen local government areas ahead of the party’s primaries.
The tour is scheduled to hold before the July 22nd and 23rd People’s Democratic Party primaries in the Sunshine State.
The former Commissioner of Justice and State Attorney General said the tour would avail him opportunity to share his blueprint with party delegates and hear their views on to move Ondo state forward as well as deliver victory for PDP during October 10 governorship election.
Jegede also promise to run people-focused/friendly and all-inclusive administration, when elected as governor, adding that he would introduce effective community intervention programme in order to take dividend of democracy to every part of Ondo State.
He also pledged to protect the interest of party leadership, members and delegates as well as the entire state when he assume duty in Alagbaka Government House come February 2021.
In his words: ”the people are tired of the APC led administration in the state. The workers, pensioners, market women/men, traders, artisans, students and business owners are lamenting over the insensitivity of Akeredolu’s administration in Ondo State. The PDP is coming to change the narrative and I am ready for task ahead.”
The 2016 PDP flag bearer expressed optimism that he will emerge victorious at party’s primaries and move ahead to win October 10 governorship election with wide margin on the platform of PDP.
The Akure born politician however appealed to party leadership to conduct credible, free, fair and transparent exercise in order to promote spirit of unity ahead main election.
