“I Am Sorry”, Daddy Freeze Begs Nigerians in the UK Over COS Video Backlash

Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has pleaded for forgiveness from Nigerians especially those living in the United Kingdom over his recent video where he threatened to write the UK government to deport Nigerians in droves back to the country.

The video which has gathered many reactions was excerpts from about an hour and more long interview which was in response to a certain lady Daddy Freeze called Mary who was selling Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) to Nigerians to get to the UK he claimed.

I will love to apologise for the media row going on about the viral video I was threatening to bring Nigerians in the UK back home who went via the COS route.

Let me remind you that I have no such powers or such intentions. The video was part of a hour plus video where I got aggravated and annoyed because a certain lady called Mary made false accusations about me. She said I charge professional fees and I didn’t do the work meanwhile Mary was selling COS we all know is illegal; she was selling it to some people which she admitted that on my live video.

I have no problem with criticism, I have no problem with people dicerting what I say or coming out after me. The problem I have is with false accusations, you cannot accuse me falsely and except me not to react….

The means through which I reacted I find to reacted I find very distasteful and I apologise. For my Nigerians brothers and sisters who relocated abroad via the COS route, I want you to know that I no intentions or wishing you bad or bringing you back home like I said earlier

…and I know that although the government in Nigeria is trying really hard and we can see the efforts they are putting in, however, you cannot fix 60 years of damage in a few weeks or even a few months, it’s going to take a while and while they are at it, escape from the current situation can be seen via the COS route.

It was my anger directed to a person who accused me falsely and what I know about social media is if they accuse you falsely and you let it linger, false narrative becomes the truth, he concluded.
