Nigerian Airforce Again Commissions 2-Bedroom Flats in Lagos

At the back of a recent commissioning of low income houses in Ipetu Ijesha, Osun State earlier this week which was reported here, the Nigerian Airforce  has again has also commissioned yet another project but this time, it is on Ikeja, Lagos State.
The renovation covers 30 2-bedroom flats at the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Ikeja.

At the commissioning, the Chief of Air Staff, (CAS) Sardique Abubakar emphasised the aim before the administration as making sure that the officers and family are in good condition.
CAS Sardique who was represented by Air Vice Marshal Abdulganiyu Olabisi, the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Logistics Command, Air Force Base, Ikeja however noted that the administration will leave no stone untouched to ensure that the officers have a good housing welfare package.
He noted that while renovations for the old/existing ones will still be done, construction of new ones will also be prioritised.
In his words: “the renovation of the block that is being commissioned today and the blocks that will be completed in a few weeks time is undertaken by direct labour.”
“Additionally, the construction of two blocks of 6 x 3 bedroom flats for junior officers is ongoing on the base.” he concluded.
He was also full of gratitude to the NAF Headquarters for the timely delivery of the project as well as the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari for his support.
