Shenu Sanni receives backlash for criticising CBN Clean Note Policy

The senator who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th assembly, Shenu Sanni, has received backslashes from commentators on the microblogging social media platform – twitter for criticising the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
A user, Kaybee, while responding to user’s reaction, Lukemon Owolabi, mocked the Afro-looking senator saying: “When an Afro outgrown its normal size, it sometimes affects d brain“.

We don’t have Naira notes, we have been doing trade by barter all along…I guess National Assembly paid your N13.5M extra allowance in transistor radios https://t.co/EF6DrT7t8i

The senator had been tongue lashed by the Kaduna State Governor, El-Rufai, months ago for turning to a blogger after being chased away from the senate while Sanni responded that El-Rufai had been reduced from being a dwarf to a leper.
The tweet which caused the uproar is shared below:

The CBN has been telling people to go the Bank on Monday to change their old Naira notes to new ones instead of first asking the people if they even have any Naira notes at all.
