29 year old UK based Nigerian adventurer, Pelumi Nubi, who is embarking on a thrilling journey travelling from the bustling streets of London all the way to the vibrant city of Lagos by road was involved in a ghastly car accident.
She shared the news of her accident on her social media account capturing it “say a prayer for me” indicating her need for support, but details about the accident and her injuries remain unclear.

Pelumi had arrived in Liberia just 24 hours before the accident occurred.
Her expedition kicked off on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 and is expected to be concluded at the end of March.
In February 2024, she crossed the borders of Spain to Morocco and her audacious solo road trip has taken her to 80 countries.

Throughout her trip, she faced numerous challenges, including a 24-hour hold at the border in Liberia and being denied entry to Sierra Leone in the third week of March.
This isn’t Pelumi’s first rodeo; she’s already conquered the Lagos-Ghana route twice, explored Namibia for two weeks, and driven from London to Lake Como, Italy.
